I made this quilt for a challenge based on the work of artist Henri Rousseau. The challenge was cancelled but I finished the piece anyhow. I looked at several of Rousseau's paintings to make my own fabric "painting" in the style of Rousseau.

Lovely Nancy! Are the orange flowers applique from actual floral fabric or is that your creative hand?
